2008 #5 7-Card Stud
1. Dave S (80), 2. Stu (50), 3. Erik (30)
Kudos to Kevin for octupling up on a hand. Down to the proverbial "chip and a chair", he managed to hold on and outlast 38% of the field. Kevin was finally knocked out by Stu, who also eliminated Winnie on the button on the same hand. This coupled with Dave's win, vaulted Dave past Kevin in the all important year-end standings.
I hope to have one more event this year before the finals. I'm open to suggestions. Here are some possible candidates (in approximate order of my preference): Mixed Game, Triple Draw, Crazy Pineapple, Lowball, Omaha (High), Stud High/Low, Razz

2008 #2 Results
Ordinarily, Waddaah seeks me out the morning after a game to ask who won, but not so today. I've decided to return to the format from a couple of years ago: we will have a final table event at the end of the year where you will qualify for a seat by being among the point leaders.
1) Waddaah K: 90, 2) Kevin S: 50, 3) Dave S: 20
Bubble: Blaise

2008 #1
Standings
- Stu 145
- Jeremy 105
- Kapil 65
- Drago, Erik, Greg, Jeff P, Jeff T, Jon Kevin, Raegan, Nadia 25
- I'm hoping to have more, if smaller, series events this year (compared to last year).
- We didn't have the Turbo Sit-n-go, but I plan to do some of those as Series events (maybe 5+1).
- Last year's winner is in 13th place.
- I'm still open to suggestions on how to do the final event. Maybe split the money into two pools, one for the the "regular season" points leaders, and another for a final top-six (or -eight, or something) tournament.
